Wanda Jean Barrett

She was born November 25, 1930 in Sikeston, Missouri to Lawrence and Gertrude (King) Agee.

She married the love of her life Edward “Bud” Barrett on August 8, 1948. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are her two children, Jana (Robert) Anton of Peoria, Brian (Joan) Barrett of Brimfield, five grandchildren, Joshua (Cami), Jeremy (Caroline), Nathan, Sarah (Terry), and Beth (Scott), nine great-grandchildren, and her brother Lyndell (Delores) Agee.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Marla Joplin and brother Lloyd Agee.

Wanda always enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She devoted a large portion of her life to caring for her husband during his illness. She and Bud would travel to Florida for many years. They loved spending time outdoors, fishing, and mushroom hunting. She was a proud member of The 2nd Church of Christ Scientist.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday September 26, 2018 from 5-7 pm at Davison Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday September 27, 2018 at 10:00 am at Davison Fulton Woodland Chapel.

Burial will follow at Swan Lake Memory Gardens
