William C. Trigger

He was born on December 31, 1925 in Peoria to Charles W. and Pauline (Capron) Trigger. He married Eileen Mason on December 15, 1951 in Dunlap. She passed away on December 2, 2006 in Peoria. He was also preceded in death by two sons, David C. Trigger and Craig R. Trigger.

William is survived by one daughter, Peggy (Jeffery) Donahoo of Edwards; six grandchildren, Angel Donahoo of Decatur, Eric Markham of Peoria, Robert (Olivia) Markham of Brimfield, Jebadiah (Ashley) Donahoo of Chillicothe, Matthew (Jessica) Donahoo of Peoria Heights and Miranda (Dustin) Donahoo-Simpson of Chillicothe; ten great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and one brother, Wayne R. Trigger of Iowa.

Bill worked at Pabst Brewing for 30 years. After they closed he worked at Lakeview Museum for 10 years until retiring.

He was a United States Army Veteran. Bill was a member of the NRA and the National Muzzle Loading Association where he was a past member on the Board of Directors-Illinois. He was also a member of the IL Valley Blacksmithing Association and Mackinaw Valley Long Rifles Association.

Private graveside services will be held at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.

Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
