Wilma H. White, age 93, of Peoria, passed away Wednesday May 11, 2016 at 12:11 a.m. at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Chillicothe. She was born Jan. 12, 1923 in Deerfield, MI to John and Rose (Labert) Schweighart. She first married Darrell Tieman and he passed away while serving overseas in WWII. She later married Teddy C. White on May 18, 1946 in Champaign, IL. He passed away Aug. 28, 1982 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Nancy Whitby and twin infant granddaughters. Survivors include five daughters: Joann (Roger) Rasor of Ochlocknee, GA, Carol Venzon of Peoria, Linda Cline of Bartonville, Judy White of Brockton, MA, Pam (Larry) Henson of Davenport, IA, eleven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren. Wilma worked for Illinois Bell for 18 years retiring in 1988. Cremation rites have been accorded. Private graveside services will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria at a later date.
