She was born August 15, 1929 in Peoria, the daughter of Herold and Agnes Burnside Anderson. She married Louis Golden on June 19, 1960. He preceded her in death on November 18, 2002.
Winnie is survived by her children, Randal Golden of Orinda, CA, Nancy (Tod) Berger of Varna, IL, Patricia (Robert) Lawless of Champaign, and James (Deb) Golden of Peoria; eight grandchildren, Gray, Caroline, Ryan, Ashley, Joe, Thomas, Rebecca, and Rachel; one brother, David (Marjorie) Anderson of Blanchard, ID; and a granddog, Rosie.
She is also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister.
She was an active member of Glen Oak Christian Church. Winnie was founding member of Peoria Pops Orchestra and Buehler Home Choir Chimes.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Glen Oak Christian Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 4-6:00pm at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. There will be an additional visitation at church 30 minutes prior to services. Rev Dr. Randy Williams will officiate.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
