

Toni Lenette McGee was born on October 9, 1963, in Riverside, California, to Mae Frances and Alfred Edwards. She was one of six siblings and the second-oldest daughter.
Toni attended several schools within the Riverside School District, including Sierra Middle School and Poly High School.
As a teenager, Toni was very athletic, playing flag football and running track. She also enjoyed participating in arts and crafts at the Community Settlement House. Toni was social and outgoing, always surrounded by friends and family.
As an adult, Toni worked as a housekeeper at March Air Force Base and Riverside Community Hospital.
In her spare time, Toni loved playing bingo, tonk, dominoes, and many other games with her family. She also enjoyed cooking, dancing, and listening to good music. Toni was the life of the party and cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
Toni had a big heart, with a loving and caring spirit. She was always willing to help anyone in need.
Toni was preceded in death by her parents, Mae Frances and Alfred Edwards; her son and daughter, Robert and Michelle Barnes; and her grandson, Tyree Howard Jr. She is survived by her children: Raneasha Barnes, Michael and Martin Detrick, Marqueis, Lamar, Arnette, and Cashmere McGee. She also leaves behind five siblings and a host of grandchildren, godchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
