It is with deep sadness that we announce Alda passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 21, 2026 in her 85th year. Alda will be forever missed and remembered by her dear husband, best friend and soulmate David Baird married 56 years.
A kind and loving aunt of Lynn Leigh (Jim). Alda is now reunited with her cherished mother Leone Lashmar (d.2003), sister Sherrill (d.1997) and her husband Bill Dietrich (d.1994), cousin Wayne Vandervoort (d.2009) and aunt Bernice Johns (d.1992).
Survived by her brother-in-law Darryl Baird (Dee), sister-in-law Lorraine Pinsonneault (Paul) and niece Anne Pinsonneault.
Rest in peace Alda, you will be forever missed and remembered. Special thanks to Karen Wiley for all her care and support. A private family service will be held at a later date.
