Ammann, Alfred “Fred”: At Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday June 24, 2014, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Gwen. Dear father of Bev McIndoo (Warren), Debbie Ammann, Nancy Hewitt (Jim), Terry Ammann (Sandi) and Ken Ammann (Lynn). Grandfather of Heidi (Craig), Cassie (Braden), Tyler (MacKenzie), Krista (Will), Jenny (Jordan), Kirk (Jocelyn), Jessica, Piper and Taylor. Great grandfather of Reese, Isobel and Madison.Will be remembered by many special friends. Fred was self employed and had a passion for farming. Funeral Service will be held at the Comstock Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 356 Rubidge Street on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens. In memory of Fred, donations to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Dialysis Unit or Lakefield Animal Welfare Society (LAWS) would be appreciated by the family.
