Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Wednesday March 20, 2013 in her 89th year. Alice Smitten was a longtime resident of Peterborough formerly of Scarborough, wife of the late Albert Smitten (1992). Dear loving mother of and truly missed by David Smitten (Carol) of Hamilton, Donna Papanicolaou (Dennis) of Ottawa, Nancy Shaw (Peter) of Aurora. Loving Grandmother of Rob, Sarah, Euri, Elisha, Nicole, and Christopher. Sister of the late Charles S. Bell of Scarborough. Aunt Alice to Carol, Fred, Ruth, Gord, Rick and Sandra. Friends will be received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm Friday March 22, 2013. The service will be held at NORTHMINSTER UNITED CHURCH 300 Sunset Blvd on Saturday March 23, 2013 at 10:30 am. Officiating the Reverend Mir Kenniphaas. Interment Highland Park Cemetery.
