After a courageous battle with cancer, at PRHC, on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Marjorie (nee Fowley). Loving father of Shirley Young (Doug), Marie Lloyd (Paul), Deborah Lay (Ron), Allan Hayes (Angie), Susan Watts (Mark) and Barbara Loucks (Bill).

Proud grandfather of Matthew Young (Marcy), Andrew Lloyd (Monika), Paula Owler, Kaitlan Lay, Cheryl Lay, Jennifer Hayes (Patrick), Mitchell Hayes, Douglas Loucks, Hailey Farrell, Ryan Watts, and Justin Watts; and great-grandfather of Emma, Mason, Liam, Logan, Emmet, and Eleanor.

Dear brother of Clair Hayes (Mary), Margaret O’Grady (John), Helen Hartnett (late Ralph). Predeceased by his siblings Noreen Powers, Rev. Father Jerry Hayes CSSR, Bill Hayes, Leonard Hayes, Charlie Hayes and David Hayes. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. The family extends their deep appreciation to the staff at PRHC Palliative Care Unit and the homecare professionals for their kindness and care. The family will receive friends at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, on Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at ST. ANNE’S CHURCH, 859 Barnardo Avenue, on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. In memory of Frank, donations can be made to the Princess Margaret Foundation or the PRHC Palliative Care Unit.
