Andrew Basciano

Passed away peacefully at PRHC on September 6, 2021 at the age of 97.

He was the son of the late Michele Basciano and the late Angela Marrocco. Beloved husband of Teresa (Neill) for 73 years. He was a WWII veteran who served in the RCNVR as a radar operator for 3 years. After his service, he was a long-time barber for over 70 years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 52 and the Peterborough Naval Club. He was also a member of the Pinecrest Golf & Country Club and Lakeview Bowl. He is survived by his brother Eric of Toronto and predeceased by his brothers: Tony, Ernie and Mike. Cherished father of Mary Talotti (John), Michael Basciano, Carl Basciano, and Cathie Basciano (Peter); grandfather of Michael (Heather), Lisa and Julia. Great-grandfather of Ella and Liv. Visitation will be held at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre 356 Rubidge Street from 4:00 to 6:00 pm Thursday.
