Ashley passed away suddenly at PRHC in Peterborough on April 20th 2025.
She was only 43 years old.
Beloved daughter of Thomas and Darlene (nee Constable), Ashley was born on April 15th 1982, two years after her big sister and best friend Laura May. Ashley will be sadly missed by her stepmom Terri (nee Pacey) and stepsisters, Kaitlin and Courtney. Also left behind is her cherished friend Rosalind Nieman.
Ashley lived in Peterborough her entire life where she attended primary school, graduated high school, and then attended college and university. She worked for 20 years at The Peterborough Clinic as a medical secretary where she became a cherished friend to all of her coworkers. Despite having debilitating Crohn's Disease, Ashley still did her best every day to work as hard as she could, be positive, and most importantly make her friends laugh. Regardless of her often miserable physical health, she was always there to support whoever needed a hand or just needed her to listen. No soul should have had to endure the pain and suffering Ashley did.
Ashley also leaves behind her dog Leia that she loved very much.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday July 6, 2025 from 1pm-4pm at the Lions Club
347 Burnham Street in Peterborough.
[Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Ashley's name to The Peterborough Humane Society or Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.}
