Beatrice Lumbard

(Longtime member of the former St. George’s Anglican Church) - Passed away peacefully in her 96th year at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on January 24, 2012. Daughter of the late Percy Roberts Price and Lillian Mabel Pummell. Dear wife of the late Robert John Lumbard (1995). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Bob and his wife Mary Lou, Marjorie and her husband Bill Boon, Jim and his wife Beverley, Reg and his late wife Shirley, Bill and his wife Sharon, and Rachel Campbell and her husband David. Special ‘Ma’ to Gloria Downer Pearson. Beatrice is survived by her brother Fred Price and his wife Betty. Predeceased by her brothers Sam, Percy and Bill, her sister Dorothy Brackenridge, and grandson Roy Boon (1966). Lovingly remembering their ‘Nana’ are 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. At Beatrice’s request, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Bea’s life will be held on Friday, February 10th, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street.
