Betty Betty-Lou Westlake Parker

PARKER, Betty (nee Westlake) – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Betty passed into her late husband Melville Parker’s arms, on Saturday, October 8, 2011, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, in her 73rd year. Betty will be greatly missed by her children; Sue (Gerry) Stencell, Bev (Dave) Windrem, Al (Connie) Parker, Patty McKellar, and Laurie (Wilfred) Dart, by her grandchildren; Brandon, Tyler, Jenn (Jesse), Beth (Brian), Candice, Brad, Nick, Steven, Jamie, Brittaney, Brady, Megan, D.J. and Jacob, and her great-granddaughter Isla. Dear sister of Howard (Marion), Dwight (Brenda), Cecil (Sandy) and the late Roy (late Ruby). Betty will also be remembered by many other relatives and friends. Services will be held at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. Visiting on Friday, October 14, 2011 from 1-3 pm with a funeral service to follow at 3 pm in the Chapel. Reverend Verna Windrem officiating. Private family interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens at a later date. Special thanks to Drs. Susan Sudbury and Brendan Hughes and the ‘C3’ nursing staff at PRHC.
