Peacefully died at Caressant Care, Lindsay on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Sylvia Ruth (nee Teel) for 40 years. Dearly loved father of Nancy (Reid) Bongard, Dale, Michael (Kathi) and Laird (Carolyn); grandfather of Shannon & Jessie Bongard, Cole and Austin. Dear brother of Joan (Dr. Roy) Hodgkiss, Peggy Fahie and the late Ruth Peterson. Bruce will be missed by his nieces, nephews and their families as well as Sylvia’s family. Bruce and Sylvia founded and built Robertson Custom Elevators to a very successful company to assist the physically disabled. In keeping with Bruce’s wishes visitation will begin at 1:00 pm followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 27, 2015 at BRIDGENORTH UNITED CHURCH, 832 Charles Street, Bridgenorth. Bruce had donated his body to the University of Toronto for Medical Research.
