Entered into rest peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital on Friday, April 17, 2026 in her 73rd year. Carol was born on February 2, 1953. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald Douglas. Dear sister to Marilyn Bent and brother-in-law Thomas Bent. Will be missed by her nephew Steven Bent and his wife Carol with their children Jacob, Andrew & Sarah and niece Julie Kellett and her husband Michael with their children Tyler & Ryan. Predeceased by beloved parents, Reginald & Verna Fee (née Jewell).
She shared 28 years of marriage to Gerald. Over the course of her long and successful career as a hairstylist, she achieved her dream of opening her own business, Carol’s Hairstyling, which proudly served the Omemee community for more than 35 years. Carol found great joy in spending time with her friends at legion nights, jams, and various social groups. She will be missed dearly by her friends, her family, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm on Monday April 27, 2026 at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough. Interment to follow at Emily Presbyterian Cemetery, 133 Emily Park Road, Omemee (corner of Emily Park Road and Meadowview Road). We invite family and friends to the Omemee Legion, 46 King Street East, Omemee afterwards to celebrate the life of Carol Fee-Douglas, offering an opportunity to share memories and connect with one another.
