Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday, April 7, 2025, at the age of 81. Debbie will be forever loved and missed by her husband, Bob Russell. Loving mother of Allyn Willey, Terry Willey, and Heather Russell. Proud grandmother of Taryna Willey. Dear sister of Ron Burke. Those who knew Debbie found her to be pleasant and joyful to be around. When you first meet Debbie, she would welcome you with open arms. Debbie enjoyed hosting parties, be it at her home and elsewhere.
Debbie was a member of the Daughters of the Nile in Edmonton AB. Past President of the Al Shamal Ladies Auxiliary raising funds for the Shriners Hospital for Children Canada.
Debbie was always an innovator and the spark of any organization she was involved with. Debbie enjoyed line danced in Peterborough for many years until it became too exhausting to dance. Debbie, amazing personality, welcoming, pleasant and joyful to be around. I will truly miss her, Bob.
