Doris passed peacefully at home with family at her side. Predeceased by her husband Gordon, children Jane and Barbara, sister Lois, and brother Elmer. Survived by her dearest sister Helen Brook of Parry Sound. Doris is in the hearts of daughters Susan Wood (Paul), Carol Slade (David), and sons Jim (Joanne), and Tom (Sandra). Doris enjoyed beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and their kids, and friends - old and new. She felt so blessed. Doris and long-time friend, Marie, were like sisters. Peterborough services including Community Care, doctors, occasional home nurses, privately arranged personal support, and neighbours were lovely over the years - and helped make Doris’s wish to remain in her home come true.
