KINGDON, Dorothy Margaret (nee Clysdale) – Retired Co-owner/operator of Kingdon Lumber, Lakefield. Long-time member of Lakefield United Church, Lakefield Curling Club and the Peterborough Golf & Country Club. – Passed away peacefully, on Saturday, July 16, 2011, at Princess Gardens, Peterborough. Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband John Arthur Kingdon (December 27, 2003). She will be lovingly remembered by her son Randy (Barb), her daughter Kim Dyck (Don), her dear grandchildren; Janis Spalding (Corey), Bryan Kingdon (Mary), Mike Kingdon (Emily), Mya Breukelaar (Dave), Kevin Dyck and Rachel Dyck, and her five great-grandchildren; Brody, Charlie, Carter, Grayden and Macy. She is survived by her brother Howard Clysdale, and sister Shirley Fife. She will be remembered by many other relatives and friends. Visiting will be held at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street on Tuesday, July 19, from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the Comstock Chapel on Wednesday, July 20, at 11 am. Interment at Little Lake Cemetery to follow.
