

Beloved brother of Marvin (Pat), Larry (Monique) and Gerald (Georgina Jackson). Beloved uncle of Roxanne (Laurent Diemert), Kevin (Sharleen), Treena (David Kohler) and Colin. Beloved great-uncle of Madison, Seridian and Monique. Predeceased by his parents Lew and Mary Tegart. Born in Kelvington SK on June 30, 1947, growing up mostly in the Earl Grey/Southey area north of Regina. Attended elementary and high school at Bryn Mawr School. Graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) in 1969. Worked primarily for Ontario Hydro in Toronto, North Bay, Windsor and Peterborough regions and on two international hydroelectric projects. Retired in 1998 to the Ennismore area near Peterborough, where he continued his professional life doing some contract work and became an active volunteer in his community. Dwayne was a great story teller with a wonderful sense of humour, a fine taste in people, food and antiques and a love of travel. He was a committed volunteer, serving with many human service agencies over his lifetime. It was only when he missed his appointments to drive community care clients on July 31 that he was found in his home, having died from heart failure. A service of remembrance will be held at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough on Sunday, August 11 at 2:00 pm.
