Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday November 10, 2013 at St. Joseph at Fleming in her 80th year. Elizabeth was predeceased by her two husbands; Ambrose Heffernan and Frank Zilinski. Loving mother of Pauline (Hank) Todd, Bernadatte (Roger) Crowe, Mary (Barrie) Cooper, Tom (Rosalind) Heffernan, Leo (Anne) Heffernan, Anne (Sam) Hilderbrandt, Debbie (Terry Ball) Heffernan, Patty (Dan) Lee, Richard (Patty) Zilinski and the late Ambrose Heffernan Jr.. Dear sister of David (Pat) Slattery. Proud grandmother of 21 and great-grandmother of 8. She will be sadly missed by many family and friends. A special thank you to St. Joseph at Fleming for the compassion of the staff and the quality of care shown to Elizabeth. A Celebration of Life will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at ST. JOSEPH’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, Douro.
