Peacefully, at PRHC, on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Thackeray(March 20, 2005). Loving mom of Peter Thackeray(Margaret). Proud grandmother of Laura and Sarah. Dear sister Alta, Bill and the late Jean. Daughter of the late George and Robena (nee Bell) MacNaughton. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Ethel was a giving woman. She gave her time freely to the United Church and to the Canadian Cancer Society.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at COMSTOCK-KAYE Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, followed by a service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. In memory of Ethel, donations to The PRHC Foundation would be greatly appreciated by her family.
