Fern Annette Hogan

Peacefully, at home with her family nearby, on Monday, October 23, 2017 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Francis Hogan. Loving mother of Catherine Van Dommelen (John), Paul Hogan, Laurel Russo (Joe), John Hogan (Janice), Mary Hogan (Michael), Fern “Theresa” Hogan, Karen Hogan, Patricia Hogan, Chris Hogan (Daniela), the late Claire “Elise” De'Hetre and the late Francis “Michael” Hogan. Proud grandmother of 25 and great grandmother of 17. Dear sister of the late Ralph, late Lillian, late Floss, late John, late Mervin and Walter Loucks. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thank you to the Hiawatha First Nation PSWs for all of their years of support, especially her honorary daughter Laura Shearer.

The family will receive friends at COMSTOCK-KAYE LIFE CELEBRATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, on Friday, October 27th from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 28th at 11 a.m. from OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CHURCH, 1830 Keene Road. Interment Hiawatha Cemetery, Hiawatha, Ontario. Donations to Hiawatha First Nation Homemaking Services or the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by her family.
