Peacefully went to be with her Lord, on July 26, 2014 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre at age 89. Beloved wife of the late Ronald for 61 years. Loving mother of Anne James. Proud grandmother of David and Allison (Stephan Takasch) and great grandmother of Carter. Predeceased by her sister Avis Finlay and her brothers Bill and Fred Crewe. Freda will be sadly missed by her church family, coffee friends and her many nieces in Britain. A Funeral Service will be held at the BRAIDWOOD BIBLE CHAPEL, 306 Braidwood Avenue, on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior.
