Frederick Stephen Gordon

Passed away at Peterborough Regional Hospital on November 4, 2025 in his 83rd year. Fred was a long time employee at Kraft General Foods in Cobourg. He was an enthusiastic watcher of many sports, in particular he loved attending the events of his children and grandchildren.

He was the beloved husband of Tilly Gordon, (nee Coppens) for 44 years. Son of the late Doris Groves (Richard) and the late Frederick Gordon. Stepfather of Barbara Schoeppe and Kevin Cameron (Melanie). Much loved grandfather of Jordan Burton (Alisha), Anneka Zelaya (Neftali), Jaxon Cameron, Joshua Schoeppe and Kaia Cameron. Great Grampa to Levi Burton, Cali Burton and Rosalia Zelaya. He will be missed by his siblings, Jim (Helen), Frank (Diane), Peggy (Paul), Pat and John (Leigh) and families. Predeceased by Jane, Richard and Carol. Also remembered by family in Sault Ste. Marie, Fons (Renee), Hans (Colleen), Karen (Danny) and families and by dear friends John and Pat Ellis.

The family would like to thank the staff at Centennial Place, Millbrook, and Peterborough Hospital for their wonderful care of Fred.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society or to Canadian Tire Jumpstart would be greatly appreciated.

A celebration of life will be held at Ashburnham Funeral Home, - 840 Armour Rd, Peterborough on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 2-4pm.
