PARSONS, George Hilliard- With great sadness, we announce the death of Hilliard, on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, in his 86th year. Dear husband of Mary Parsons (Graham) for 57 years. Loving father of Brenda Brebner (Alan) of Edmonton and Anne Parsons of Peterborough. Brother of Ray Parsons and the late Dorothy Parsons. Hilliard was loved and will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends. Our very special thanks to sister-in-law Ruth Burnett for all of her care and support over the years. Retired from GE after 43 years of dedicated service. Visiting will be held at the ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME & RECEPTION CENTRE, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, on Monday, February 27, from 11 am-1 pm. A graveside service will follow at Rosemount Memorial Gardens on Monday, February 27 at 1:30 pm.
