Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in his 74th year. Gerald of Peterborough, formerly of Bancroft was the son of the late Martha (Bowers) and Edward Parks. Brother of Joan McAllister (Don), Jim Parks, Debbie Murray, Sandra McCaskie, and the late Beverley Vardy (Keith), Bonnie Parks, and Linda Yelle. Gerald will be remembered by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Gerald loved to play the accordion and entertaining. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the folks at Mrytle Terrace; a place that Gerald called home.
A memorial service at Ashburnham Funeral Home and interment at Hillcrest Cemetery in Bancroft will be held at a later date. If desired, condolences to the family, or donations to United Way or a charity of your choice may be made at www.communityalternative.ca
