Peacefully at Hospice Peterborough on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Marie Helen Van Beek (née Finney). Loving father of Helen Lake (Philip), Joan Hogendoorn (Gary), David Van Beek (Christina) and the late Brian Van Beek. Proud grandpa of Jason (Caitlyn), Lee-anne (Steve), Philip (Holly), Kristen (Paul), Shannon (Warren), Dawson (Maddie), Devon and Alexander; and great-grandpa of Hayden, Maddox, Haylee, Nixen, Briegan, Jake, Owen and Harrison. Dear brother of Joe (Christina), Betty (Dick), John (Joyce), Henry (Betty), the late Alfie (Gwen), Gail (late Joe), and Jane (late Jim). Predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth Van Beek; and son in law Benny Hogendoorn.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Cephas Church, 220 Goodfellow Road, on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 11 am to 1 pm, followed by a funeral at the church at 1 pm. Interment at Ballyduff Cemetery following the reception at the Church.
