Peacefully at PRHC, surrounded by her loved ones, on Friday January 13, 2012 in her 60th year. Beloved wife of Bill Jordan. Much loved daughter of the late Stanley and Joan (nee Oram) Edwards. Loving mother of Shirley Carder and her step daughter Cara Jordan. Dear sister of Emily Milligan(Luc). Sadly missed by her niece, many relatives and friends. Hazel will be remembered for her devotion to the Lovesick Lake Native Women’s Association where she worked as the Literacy and Basic Skills coordinator. The family wishes extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff at PRHC Palliative Care Unit for their kindness and care. In keeping with Hazel’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 37 Bridge St., Lakefield, on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. In memory of Hazel, donations may be made to the Buckhorn Public Library.
