Helen Marie Niles (nee Kelly) – Passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at Extendicare Lakefield on December 14, 2012 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Stephen (2001). Cherished mother of Rosemary Leonowicz (Victor) and Greg Niles (Barb). Loving Granny of Anne-Marie (Sean), Susan (Grant), Karen (Ken), Andrea (Jon) and Lori (Martin). Great Granny of Andrew (Lisa), Katie, Eric, Megan, Kevin, Jenna, Charlotte, Emily and Sophie. Dear sister of Jean Wilding (Bill) and sister-in-law of Dorothy Kelly. Predeceased by her brother Gordon ‘Bus’ Kelly and her sister Catherine McDougall (Harry). Helen will be sadly missed by several generations of nieces and nephews and her many friends especially Annie Frank. Visitation will be held at the Comstock Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough on Monday, December 17, 2012 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 859 Barnardo Avenue, Peterborough on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 12:00 noon. Private family interment at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Cobourg. If so desired, donations in memory of Helen may be made to a charity of choice.
