Long-time member of St. Luke’s Anglican Church. Passed away peacefully, on Thursday, November 15, 2012, at Peterborough Manor, in her 93rd year. Irene was the beloved wife of the late Harry Stewart for 68 years. Dear mother of William “Bill” Stewart (Nancy) of Gananoque, Carl Stewart of Whitby and Larry Stewart (Melinda) of Edmonton. Dear grandmother of Cheryl (Sean) McCabe of Ottawa, Tracy (Mark) Vanderzwan of Wayne, Pa., Michelle (Andrew) Hingston of Uxbridge, Cynthia of Scarborough, James of Victoria, B.C. and Josh, Ian and Ella Stewart all of Edmonton; and she was a Great-Grandma of seven. Sister of Lloyd Falls of Woodstock, Kaye Clarke of Owen Sound, Verna Casselman of Port Hope, Barbara Bailey of Cobourg and the late Ann Fairs, Sheldon Falls, Kenneth Falls and Lawrence Falls. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 12:00 noon, with visiting one hour prior from 11:00 am – 12:00 noon.
