Jane Kocjan

Passed away peacefully surrounded by love, at Wildwood Care Centre, St. Mary's, on May 14, 2024 in her 102nd year. Predeceased by her husband Eric (2014) with whom she is now united forever in their eternal home. Loving Mother to Ann (Michael), Ed (Shelley), Barbara (Gary), Anthony (Valerie), Teresa (Vern), and Martha (John). Missed deeply by her 14 Grandchildren: David, Sean, Brock, Lukas, Melanie, Nicole, Miranda, Eric, James, Michael, Kayla, Ian, Allison and Erin and 10 Great Grandchildren: Jaxson, Sophie, Lilly, Clive, Murray, Olive, Keagan, Sebastian, Jane and Adriano.

Jane was born in Poland in 1923 and immigrated to Canada in 1948, and settled into the Lakefield/Peterborough area in 1956. Her proudest accomplishment was guiding and nurturing her 6 children into successful adults. She loved her flower gardens and life on the farm. Jane was a life member of the CWL and devoted to her church life. Her deep love for the children and all family members will be our strongest memory and she will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 11:30-12:30 at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough and Funeral Mass will be held same day at 1:00 pm at St. Anne's Parish, 859 Barnardo Avenue, Peterborough.
