DAVIS, Jean Alice (nee Meeks) – Passed away at Fairhaven on March 20, 2015 in her 98th year. Loving mother of Paul, the late Donald and the late Joan. Dear grandmother of Janice Davis (Jamie Oliver) and great grandmother of Alesha Simmons (Wess), Melissa Bird (Frank), and Breanna Davis-Oliver. Predeceased by her sister Joan Stevens (George). Jean will be fondly remembered by her many friends at Fairhaven, St. James United Church and the Eastern Star, where she was the Past Matron of Peterborough Chapter #161 and she was also a long-time member of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. Funeral Services for Jean will commence at 1:00 p.m. in the Comstock Chapel on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 with an Eastern Star Service followed by a Christian Funeral Service.
