To the entire Windrem family: My heart is broken to know Jean passed away. My family and I had the privilege to be immediate neighbours of Jean, Gord, Kevin, and MaryAnne (when she still lived at home) for 32 wonderful years. I have so many, many fond memories and stories of those years. Jean was a truly extraordinary woman! She always had a smile on her face. She would bend over backwards to help without hesitation. We have fond memories of Jean at Bethel and as a wonderful neighbour and friend. Jean was always available to us in our times of need. We cherish that friendship and care very much for her family.

Deepest condolences from Scott Eccles and family. Jean was a wonderful, serving mother and loved all her kids immensely. Jean and Gord set an example of hard work, love and faith in Jesus their entire lives. I had the great opportunity to be a guest in their home and farm many times as Terry and I were best friends. I loved the peace I got when I was there and enjoyed working and doing chores and really discovering what a farm was about. The home cooking was always amazing! Jean was so forgiving of Terry and my shenanigans all through our high school years as we sowed our wild oats. Just the example of saying Grace at the dinner table opened my eyes to the salt and light of wonderful, steadfast, hard working, believers in God. May she rest now in Jesus' arms.

Dear Glen, Terry, Mary Anne, Kevin & families,

We are so sorry to hear of your mom's passing.  She will be greatly missed by many in our community.   She was always a great supporter of Bethel Church and Emily Presbyterian Cemetery.   She was happy to visit and share a smile and a story whenever our paths crossed.  Both she & your dad were great neighbours to Meadowview Road folks.

Although we are unable to be with you to share in her celebration please know that we are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.
