Joan Alice Stock Coward

Suddenly at Extendicare, Kawartha Lakes on Thursday, March 3, 2016 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Delbert Ernest Coward (July 1986) for 33 years. Dear mother of Judy Coward, Cathie Coward (Simon Wilson), Heather Blandford (Dave) and the late Tom (1977). Loving Gran of Charlotte and Elyse Wilson. She was the sister of Jeff (late Phyllis) and the late Jerry (Ruth). She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Joan was involved with Girl Guides Of Canada for over 50 years, The Red Hat Society and the United Church Women, also, Mom was a big part of the Otonabee South Monaghan Historical Society. A funeral service will take place at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at KEENE UNITED CHURCH, 30 North Street, Keene. A private family interment will take place at Keene Upper Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to Keene United Church or Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated.
