Gaskell, John Edward (Jack) – Passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on April 26, 2011 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Isabel (nee Weaver) for 62 years. Dear father of Lauren McPhee and the late Steven Gaskell, who is survived by his wife Deborah. Proud grandfather of Cheryl Manley and her husband James, Jennifer, and Adrienne. Dear brother of Ruth Pakenham and Lewes Gaskell. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Elizabeth Gaskell. A funeral service will be held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 566 Armour Road, Peterborough on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 1:00 pm, with visitation prior to the service from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm at the church. Interment will take place at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. If so desired, donations in memory of John may be made to the Lung Association or St. Luke’s Anglican Church.
