Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the age of 78. He will be forever loved and missed by his wife, Betty (née Whitnell) and their children, Geoff Tate (Tracy) and Krista Manley. Proud grandpa of Beth Manley (Darcy Waugh), Joe Manley (Ary Monahan), Eijler Tate, and Evie Tate. Dear brother of Rose Roberts (Gerry), Barb Hopper (Will), and Peter (Mary) Tate. David will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. As expressions of sympathy, donations to SickKids Hospital Foundation or your local humane society would be greatly appreciated. A celebration of David’s life will be held at Ashburnham Funeral Home – 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, with Words of Remembrance at 11:30 am.
