

Julian, Kate (Wale); peacefully at St. Joseph’s at Fleming on Tuesday November 27, 2012 at the age of 110. She had recently said that she thought God had forgotten her, but He has now called her home. Kate was long predeceased by her parents and 9 older siblings in Coventry, England. She will be so happy to be joining her beloved husband Matthew who died in 1956. Kate was mother to Josephine Hadwyn, Port Hope-deceased April 2012 (Roy deceased), Thelma Aker, Peterborough (Murray deceased) and Lawrence (Debbie) Julian, Douro. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren – Terry (Val), Gary (Anne), and Paul Hadwyn, Jacqueline Haywood (Ian) and Joanne Hadwyn, Andrew Aker (Pam) and Dianne Aker-O’Brien (John, deceased), Derek Julian (Melanie) and Jason Julian (Niki). 29 great grandchildren, 44 great, great grandchildren and 4 great, great, great grandchildren. Kate was still having her hair done for her weekly trip with her son for lunch at Jesse’s. Her granddaughter, Dianne Aker-O’Brien who went to tuck her in every night will especially miss her. She was STILL waiting for her Maple Leafs to win the Cup. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Visitation will be held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE 356 Rubidge Street from 12:30 pm to 2:15 pm on Monday December 3, 2012. The service will be held in the chapel at 2:30 pm.
