Peacefully at St. Joseph’s at Fleming on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, Katherine Earle of Peterborough in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Earle and Ken Tilley. Beloved Mom of Gary (Ferne), Brian (Karen) and Steve (Diane). Dear Grandma of Cathy (Joe Iacobellis), Dr. Robert (Carole), Tim (Jenne), Tammy (Andrew) Astrom, Tania (John) MacLeod, Torrie (Jenn), Travis (Deanna), Tyson (Melissa), Michelle (Derek) Wagland, Chris (Kendra) and 21 great grandchildren. Step-Grandma of Wendy, Patty (Kerry) Bell, Vicky and Ron Earle. Predeceased by her stepson Ron Earle (survived by his wife Bonnie). Also predeceased by her parents Stanley Johnston and Ethel Ford. Katherine loved to read and excelled in Spelling, Math and Bookkeeping and had a very quick wit. She will be sadly missed by her co-workers at Sears and Lakefield Research. The Service to celebrate Katherine’s life will be held at Westdale United Church on Saturday, July 23rd, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior with Rev. Don Genge officiating. Internment Norwood Cemetery. Donations in Katherine’s memory may be made to Telecare Peterborough or the charity of your choice and would be appreciated by the family.
