November 20, 1945 – June 12, 2025
After a very long battle with myasthenia gravis, Larry Arthur passed away peacefully in palliative care. A sincere thanks to Dr. J. Heidman and the amazing and compassionate staff.
Larry was the dearly loved son of Nellie (Hodges) and Bert Maskell. Larry also had a very special uncle, Arthur Hodges.
Left to mourn his loss, yet cherish the memories, are his loving wife Sharon Maskell (Heyting) and his only daughter Carolee (Wood).
Larry was a wonderful gentleman with a strong faith. He was well known for his beautiful Christmas trees which he enjoyed sharing with others, and his scary Hallowe’en décor.
Larry also enjoyed gardening, and was complimented on his “English” atmosphere therein.
Larry had a spontaneous welcoming smile and a kind heart.
There will be a private, small memorial service.
May God be with you, Larry, til we meet again.
If you so wish, donations in his memory would be greatly appreciated for Grace United Church in Peterborough or Teen Challenge.
