Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Peterborough on April 16, 2023 at the age of 90. Larry was the beloved husband of Helen “Elma” P.M. Walker (née McFarlan) for over 66 years. Loving father of Duncan, Arlene (Stephen) Sewell and Debbie (Larry) Haight. Proud grandpa of Campbell, Spencer, Brandon and great-grandpa of Samuel. Larry will also be missed by his furry companion Sugar and many other extended family and friends. Larry spent most of his career as a Broker for the Toronto Stock Exchange. Later on, he was able to enjoy travelling in his motorhome with Elma, seeing new sights and making memories. In his retirement, Larry was an avid golfer and kept active as a long-time member of the Lift Lock Square Dance Club. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge St., Peterborough on Wednesday, April 26th from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with Tributes and Memories being shared at 12:00 p.m. Private family interment will be held at Little Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Salvation Army or the Peterborough Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
