Peacefully at Centennial Place her family by her side, on Saturday, November 30, 2013 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late William “Leonard” Porter. Loving mother of Kenneth Porter (Barbara), Ralph Porter (Katie), Cameron Porter (Late Carol), Joan Porter, Linda van der Wel (Bill) and Rodger (late Elaine). Proud grandmother of Deborah-Lynn Vitale (Dave), Allen Porter (Sue), Wendy Devlin (Ed), Gordon Porter (Heather), Amy Porter, Terry Porter (Melissa), Sean Porter (Vicky), Sheryl Winacott (Paul), Shannon Porter, Pamela Runnett (Rob), Mark Spry (Cindy), Sarah Porter and William Porter. Dear great-grandma of Alex Vitale, Zackary Porter, Lisa Devlin, Erin Devlin, Victoria Porter, Alexis Porter, Nolan Porter, Coltan Porter, Damian ‘D.J.’ Porter, Kyle Porter and Parker Runnett. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends. The family will receive friends at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, on Tuesday, December 3 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 4th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Interment at Ida Cemetery. In memory of Lazelle, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
