WOOD, M. Levern – Retired carpenter. Avid hunter and fisherman. Peacefully, with his family at his side, in Peterborough, on Saturday, April 23, 2011 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Lillian Wood (nee Mason). Loving father of Neil (Dianne), Lorne (Karen) and the late Marlene and Gerry. Dearly loved by Dave and Barb Edgerton and Bob Green. Cherished grandfather of Warren, Dave (Andrea), Carolyn (Cesar), Ian (Lori), Terri (Kevin), Jeff (Brenda), Rob, Leigh (Gregg), Laura (Matt) and Derek. Caring great-grandfather of Travis (Paula), Kandis (Grant), Amanda, Dylan, Clayton, Mackenzie, Adam, Charlie, John, Scott, Jordan, Jessica, Neileigh and Nate. New Great-great grandfather of Bowdyn. Levern will also be remembered by many other relatives, friends and neighbours. Visiting will be held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, on Tuesday, April 26, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the Comstock Chapel, on Wednesday, April 27, at 11 am. Reverend George Turner officiating. Interment at Welcome United Cemetery at a later date.
