To Marilyn's family,  While I did not have the pleasure of meeting Marilyn (or Barbara and Gerald) as much as I did John and Pam over the years, the name Cantello is almost like royalty.  Many a good time was had by the Cantello clan and the Wenhams (Maurice and Thea).  I was so sorry I didn't hear of Marilyn's passing as of course I live in Peterborough and would have attended.

Marilyn was so good to me as we spent many years in the Kawartha Music Company Chorus of Sweet Adelines.  She taught me a lot about music as she was the best Bass in the group. Her quiet patience , always happy and upbeat. Everybody loved her.

Dear Carolyn, Heather, Glenn, Bob and families I was so sorry to hear about your Mum. She was such a special aunt and I have so many happy memories of spending holidays together and being at your house. She taught me how to sew by making Barbie clothes. I still love Canasta because of her and your family. Her baking was amazing and her laugh will never be forgotten. She was such a kind and gentle soul. It will always make me happy to think of the travels our parents went on together and the fun they shared. Sending my love and hugs to all of you. Xox

Aunt Marilyn meant so much to so many people.  She touched all our hearts with her kindness, loving smile, and infectious laugh.  I have so many fond memories of her growing up - it was always so much fun at your house - your mom made it that way! All the parties, family get-togethers, amazing food, traveling together, and just sharing time.  She will be greatly missed but all the wonderful memories of her will live on in all of us. 

I just went through some of my photos of her when she visited out west...they put a smile on my face just remembering her.  I will share a few...

Dear Carolyn, Heather, Glenn, Bob & Families: I love Auntie Marilyn so much - who wouldn't?! What a funny, kind, loving, caring, generous ray of sunshine! I have so many fond memories of our families together over the years and will cherish them forever. I loved Auntie Marilyn's laugh, smile, her songs and poems, her love of children and family, the fact that she was a shutterbug , her delicious meals, the cards she always remembered to send, and so much more! Aunt Marilyn was a beautiful woman through and through. I will miss her wonderful smile and her contagious laugh.  She was always so cheerful and happy whenever I saw her. I remember everything she cooked and baked as being delicious, but her butter tarts were what I remember the most. They were so decadent. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. I know that everyone who knew her will miss her dearly. My deepest sympathies to her children and grandchildren who have lost someone so very dear. Love to all of you. Gillian

Goodbye to a wonderful sister-in-law, life-long friend, and lovely person.    We will always remember your Mom, lots of good times together, laughs and tears shared, going to school -- Prince of Wales and PCVS, raising our"kids", singing in choirs-- church and Sweet Adelines , on-stage with the  All Saints' Dramatic Club, camping, travelling abroad, cycling, to  Lindsay,  and great picnics.
We did everything together for so many years and even married two brothers!
These are our memories, you must have many more that you will always treasure.
We extend our deepest sympathies to you on the loss of a wonderful mother, but ask you to picture your Mom and Dad together again and enjoying a gin and tonic!

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Mrs. C was one of the kindest and caring person  I have ever known. Going right back to the high school days and beyond  .I learned so many things from knowing her. To name just a few :what exactly was canasta,and are all those Adeline's sweet,what does G and T stand for,and who was Elizabeth Humphrey?
 Although I'm sure there's lots of tears I am almost positive there will also be lots of laughter as you recall all your memories of your mom .
