Gemmiti, Mario; Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care on June 13, 2013, surrounded by family. Mario was in his 72nd year and a retired employee of the Quaker Oats. Best friend & husband of Fay Gemmiti. Loving father of Steven Gemmiti (Helen) of Arizona, Michelle Bozec (Joe) of Peterborough. Cherished grandfather of Matthew and Benjamin. Dear brother of Sandy Gemmiti (late Maria), Tony Gemmiti (Thelma), Quinty Gemmiti (Carol) and the late Vince Gemmiti. Son of the late Giuliano and Lucia Gemmiti. Son-in-law of Ron Keast (late Patricia) and Fae Murney. Brother-in-law of Monty Keast (Shari), Bobby Keast (Tanya). Will be remembered by Palmira Harris, Doreen Gemmiti, numerous nieces & nephews. Sadly missed by his special friends. The family will receive friends at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME, 356 Rubidge Street from 1 – 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm on Sunday and from 12 - 1 pm on Monday. Parish Prayers will be held at 12:45 pm on Sunday. The funeral mass will be held at the CATHEDRAL OF ST. PETER-IN-CHAINS on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 1:30 pm. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery.
