JOHNSON, Marlene Charlotte (nee Brinkman)—It is with unimaginable sorrow that we announce the passing of Marlene Charlotte Johnson at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on May 13, 2014. Beloved wife of Ellwood. Dearest mother of Lisa (Jeremy) and Timothy. Much-adored grams of Brooke and Hunter Lethangue. Cherished sister of Earl and Linda. Marlene had an unshakable faith and prayed daily for her family as well as those in need around the world. Her home and family were her life—she was our rock, our light and our inspiration. Her love, like our present grief, was endless. Her legacy will be lived out through those she touched, not only her family but everyone who was touched by her kindness. We will miss forever her bright smile, wonderful sense of humour, and the amazing warmth of her embrace. We know she is with our Saviour, watching over us, and we look forward to being reunited with her again someday. We love you, Mom and Marlene.
