Vollering, Martin, at PRHC on July 8, 2023, in his 83rd year with his family at his side. Mart, a dairy farmer, was a long-time resident of Indian River. Much loved by his late wife Carmel (2013) and beloved friend of Lorraine Castleman for the last 8 years. Dear father to Arlene (Tom Robinson), Wes, and Eric (Heather). Predeceased by Cheryl (2007), and twins Catherine and Charlene (1967). Cherished grandpa to Rebecca (Ivan), Jeffery, Larisa, Evan, Elias, Joshua, Emma, Chelsea and Rachel. Great grandpa to Theo. The oldest of ‘the nine’. His brothers, who will miss him dearly: Andy (Barb), Ben, Casey (Collette), Jack, Frank (Gloria), Pete, Tony (Marie), Charlie (Johanna). Fondly remembered by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and grandnieces/nephews. Friends will be received at COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME - ASHBURNHAM CHAPEL on Thursday July 13 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Douro at 11:00 AM on Friday July 14, 2023. Inurnment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Douro.
