We are sad to announce the passing of Mary “Carol” Bateman (Noyes) on Friday April 12th, 2024, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of Ivan for 64 years and loving mother of Jennifer, Greg (Charlene) and Susan (Ray). She was the adored grandmother of Thomas, James, Michael, Sophie and Adam. She will be dearly missed by her sister Martha Bentley (Doug). Predeceased by her brothers John and Roger Noyes and sister Peggy Wakeford. Carol was lifelong member of Mark Street Church. Nothing gave her more joy than spending time with her children and grandchildren and working in her garden. Carol worked for years reading for the visually impaired at the Trent Audio Library. This beautiful kind soul will be greatly missed. Many thanks go out to the staff at Centennial Place in Millbrook for their incredible care and compassion. Visitation will be at Ashburnham Funeral Home - 840 Armour Road, Peterborough on Sunday, April 21 at 1:00 pm with a memorial service at 2:00pm. Donations in Carol’s honour to Mark Street Church or the Peterborough Zoo would be appreciated by the family.
