It is with deep sadness that Maxim’s family announces his passing on April 5, 2026, in Marmora at the age of 26. Beloved son of Carole Papineau and Joel Carbonneau. Dear brother of Frédérick Carbonneau (Olivia). Cherished grandson of Liane Simoneau and the late Eugène Carbonneau, Rachel Bureau and the late Jacques Papineau. Lovingly remembered by Lorna Mae Palmeteer, and her children Oliver, Bentley, Sadie and Jessie. Dearly missed by his aunts and uncles: Eric Carbonneau (Caroline Vallée), Francis Carbonneau (Audrey Montpetit), Marlène Carbonneau, Chantal Papineau, Line Papineau, Sylvain Papineau, Martin Papineau, Annie Richard; his cousins: Dérick Tardif, Marc-Antoine Papineau, Alexandre Papineau, Dylan Papineau, Sarah Audy, Marianne Papineau, Emilie Papineau, Samuel Papineau, Michaël Papineau, Ericka Carbonneau, Julie Carboneau, Mathieu Carbonneau, Mily-Anne Carbonneau, Eugénie Carbonneau and Sandrine Gagné, and his friends and colleagues.

A Celebration of Maxim’s life will be held at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, Saturday, April 11, 2026, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., with family tributes at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by his family. Frère chéri de Frédérick Carbonneau (Olivia). Petit-fils adoré de Liane Simoneau et feu Eugène Carbonneau, Rachel Bureau et feu Jacques Papineau. Il laisse dans le deuil Lorna Mae Palmeteer et ses enfants Oliver, Bentley, Sadie et Jessie. Une cérémonie commémorative en l’honneur de Maxim aura lieu au Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 rue Rubidge, Peterborough, le samedi 11 avril 2026, de 13 h 30 à 17 h. Des hommages de la famille seront rendus à 15 h 30. Au lieu des fleurs, un don à Association canadienne pour la santé mental serait grandement apprécié.
