Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Canterbury Gardens, in her 94th year. Morfydd arrived in Canada from Wales as a war bride in 1945 and settled in Ontario where she became known as Jane. She was the beloved wife of the late Leslie (2008). Loving mother of Cathy Kidston (Phil), John PhD (Jacquie), Wendy Edmunds (Bill) and Peter (Kelly). Dear grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 8. Cherished sister of Branwen Weekes of Cardiff, Wales and sister-in-law Margaret Piper of Lindsay, Ontario. Predeceased by her sons Michael Robert and James Arthur and her brothers Llewelyn Jones and John Jones. She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends across Canada and the world. A celebration of Morfydd’s life will be held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 3 p.m. with visiting one hour prior.
