Nellie Pauline Driscoll

Nellie Pauline Driscoll (née Dohan), born in Arcola, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 29th, 2026 at the age of 94. Nell was the beloved wife of the late Charles Driscoll for almost 70 years, and she loved her family immensely. She dedicated her life to raising four sons: Bob (Andrea), Gary (Joanne), Doug (Sharon), and Ted (Sandy); six grandchildren: Michelle (Ryan), Jenna (Nick), Laura (Josh), Becky, Dalton, and Dustin; and four great grandchildren: Christopher, Avery, Everleigh and Harper, all of whom will miss her dearly but have so many wonderful memories to cherish. Nell was predeceased by her sisters, Hilde and Fran, and her brother Bob, and is survived by her sister-in-law Marlene and many nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.

In her younger years, Nell worked for Sears, enjoyed spending leisure time at the family cottage, bowling, playing bridge, cribbage and euchre, as well as socializing and travelling with numerous longtime friends. She was a woman of very strong faith, and we know she is now at peace.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Extendicare Lakefield for their kindness and compassion during mom’s final months. At mom’s request, the family will have a private celebration of life. Arrangements through Comstock-Kaye in Peterborough.
